Well once again I am in the middle of another big bus travel schedule thingy where I have to catch buses for 50 hours or some crap like that.
To start.
Um
Rewind quite a few days
I left Don Det. At 6 in the morning, I jumped in a longboat. I walked. I then I took a bus. I walked. I took another boat. I walked. I jumped into a truck. I walked to the border and I left Laos and entered Thailand. I walked. I ran as I had to get onto a bus. I was then put onto another bus. I got off at the wrong stop. I walked. It was to far so I took a tuk tuk to the train station. I hopped onto a sleeper and I arrived in Bangkok at 5 in the morning. I was not happy. I abused a tuk tuk driver. I took a taxi and arrived on Koh Sahn Road. I arranged an overnight bus to Chang Mai. I arrived. It was 6 in the morning. It was a hard 48 hours, but I was in Chang Mai for only one reason, and that was to do a trek, but I had to see the town first, which I did on scooter. The Wat at the top of the mountain being the highlight. The next morning was the lowlight. It was the start of the trek !!!!! I drunk Thai whiskey the night before I left so I was praying to Mecca before we started.
The first day we walked for six hours. Up and down mountains. After two hours, an Israeli girl said that it was not fun anymore and she wanted to go back. As I wasn't the only Aussie there, we both bagged her out. Upon arriving, the village people in this village then sold a load of herbs to keep us happy, and thanks to you Kenny, I came into my own. It seemed that I was the only person there who could roll proper J's. I quickly made many friends. Then the kids of the village people came out and sang some numbers for us.
Don't you just hate sitting there listening to a tune and thinking that I know this song in English.Well this group of Village People were singing Go West by the Village People. Blew me away. Then it was time for us to sing them a song. So us two Aussies gave them the little Aussie number that does us proud. So we sang Skippy. After that, the guide got Dr O opium that is) to do a general check-up on us just to make sure we were taking the right amount of prescribed drugs that he was prescribing for us. He was very happy. Once again, it was very good. The next day we only trekked a short way before we stopped at another village to stock up on our supplies. Then another short walk before we went swimming under another waterfall. After lunch, we trekked again until we were met by some elephants. Now I've done some heavy four wheel driving and some awesome trail-bike riding in my time, but the elephants blow both of these two away. First you must smoke a number and then wait for the heavens to open and then the elephants come into there own. Their front legs were sliding down hills and they were dropping their back legs down to their knees and acting as handbrakes. It was fun but scary as the edge of the cliff was close by. That nite, I did you proud Kenny. J rolling classes. Admittingly Kenny, the students were not as good as the ones you had but they kind of rolled ok numbers, but you being the master would have been disappointed in their efforts. The next morning after more J's, we then hopped onto a bamboo raft to go rafting down through these rapids for a couple of hours. Yes I did get dunked and it was great swallowing all of that lurvely water. Then the trek was over !!!!!

So I then spent the next day just riding around on a scooter seeing Chang Mai.
Well now I am back in Bangkok, waiting for another bus to take me to some islands where I am going to do a diving course.Anyway, thats all for now, as I have another bus to catch and I am in hour 24 out of 48.
