Viva Espania. This was my second trip to Spain. A bit more structured (and I actually knew I was going) than the last. Which was an ill fated trip to the spanish island of Mallorca. But that is another story, on with this one..
So I did not have a place to stay for a couple of days and so I got in touch with my old friend Kristine who has been living with her Spanish boyfriend for the last while. So we worked it out that I would come crash at their place for a few days in Callefell just outside Barcelona. Brilliant. Caught the train to Stansted, got on a Ryanair flight to Girona.

So I did not have a place to stay for a couple of days and so I got in touch with my old friend Kristine who has been living with her Spanish boyfriend for the last while. So we worked it out that I would come crash at their place for a few days in Callefell just outside Barcelona. Brilliant. Caught the train to Stansted, got on a Ryanair flight to Girona. Caught some trains and buses and what have you. I then ended up at the station I was supposed to meet Kristine at, I had run out of euros so I asked a girl sitting there if i could borrow her cell but it had no money on it so she gave me a euro. I then sat next to her and chatted, she could not speak well and said at one point "you hot?!" with hand motions to her face. I was like, well
I don't know, i guess. It s pretty subjective. And then she pulled out her chorizo sandwich and broke it in half and gave it to me. Ahh, the clouds were cleared. Good start to my trip.
As soon as Pepe and K picked me up when raced to the Gramona winery were I got a whirl wind tour and tasted some wines. It was awesome, they specialize in Cava(spanish champagne, i never knew that so don't feel stupid as well) It is amazing, I saw the entire process until it was corked and ready to explode!! I have a bottle of Gran Reserva waiting to be opened on new years with Sam. Yeeha. Then went to dinner and had some tapas, and the rain poured, i mean bucketed down.

The next day we went into Barcelona, what a fantastic city. Fricken cool. I loved getting lost and stumbling upon beautiful things. The Spanish really love beautiful things (the women are not half bad!!) Kristine and I wondered around taking in the sights and sounds. It was so nice to see her again, she ...

A friend told me about these cool travel blog websites and I can't believe I looked you up and voila there you were! This is awesome..... what a perfect way to see and read about some amazing places. The pictures are great and it just blows me away how many places you have visited!!! What cool adventures you have experienced. Well, keep living it up and keep up the blogs, they are so cool!
