We took advantage of great weather and in June climbed many classic lines and spires in our mountains.
The red line shows one of the most famous routes in whole range. South face of Zamarla Turnia was first climbed in 1910 after many failed attempts and became the hardest in the Tatras. This claim to fame is long gone, but excellent climbing in very exposed settings and vivid legends of the battles fought to conquer the face still make it very looked after.
Next pictures show modern limestone climbing in the Western Tatras, famous spire of Mnich and one of our guests on its airy summit.
