Sitting staring out across the harbour waters at Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

...

It's weird.

...

I'm a bit gobsmacked. I feel like I've been instantly transported, Mr Ben style....it doesn't really make much sense.

...

I'm in Australia

...

The fact that I've only had one and a half hours sleep could have something to do with my state of mind, but what is really strange, and something I can't get my head around is that ridiculously huge number of bloody joggers! There have literally been 50 pass me in the last twenty mins! I was beginning to think it was some sort of jog-a-thon, when an elderly lady, looking a picture in marine-blue lycra, came up to me from behind, doing one of those daft, wiggly speed-walks. I quickened my pace as she tried to pass and quizzed her, asking what on Earth was going on, and she said it was simply because people wanted to keep fit!

I was astounded. So many people, all health freaks!

Unfortunatly, moments before her arrivall, I'd sparked up and she couldn't resist a little dig, tutting at unhealthy smokers. I suppose it was to be expected, but it meant that after she'd wobbled off, I made a concentrated effort to blow smoke clouds whenever more of them passed, and delighted in slowly munching thought a king-sized Mars bar that I'd been saving, gloating at the healthy ones. Well, it made me smile.

I might come here tomorrow at the same time too - there have been countless gorgeous guys with muscly legs speed by! Ha Ha

Shame it's raining.

I didn't think it rained here, but a heavy overcast sky looms above the imposing skyline, threatening to drench me at any moment.

ps.
They have purple trees here(!), and trees whose brances have dropped down from two / three meters up and re-rooted in the soil, creating a natrual wood archway! Stunning.
