On the Wayward bus that will take me all the way south to Alice Springs over the next 3.5 days. There are only 19ppl on the bus, and I've managed to grab 2 seats all to myself, so I should be in for a nice comfortable ride. I hadn't really read the brochure and have just found out that lunch and tea are not included, it's camping all the way and there isn't anywhere on the first leg to buy food - joy, but the good thing is that the first day is spent in Litchfield National Park whch is fab since it's supposed to rival Kakadu but with more waterholes and falls. Normally, this is right up my street, but to tell you the truth after just 3 nights in Kakadu I'm a bit maxed out on my camp-ability and waterfall-ability. I'm getting old, that extra year is showing its true colours now...
The good news is that Joris and Martin from my Kakadu trip are also on this trip, so we're going to have a good laugh, oh, and there's the lovely Tom - it's always nice to have some eye candi ....
