After a year of studying humanities at university it seems like it is time to once again grab my bag and leave home. This time my journey takes me south-west to la peninsula, where I will study a semester in Madrid. I will be gone for seven months and two and a half of them will be on the road. It is not until the end of june that I have to enjoy myself with airport shopping, but I wish to give a little acount for the feeling of once again travelling abroad leaving family and friends at home.

But first let me say a few words about the year I had, after leaving my beautifull Ljubljana.
I went home to start university five days after and felt pretty strange in having left the magic of travelling and the wonders of the Balcany so short time before. But I got through the first semester and my many cultural choks of being home. The worst part was that as I arrived home with all my great tales of the foreign, my two best friends left on each their bildungs-journey. And know when they have arrived, I will leave. But what I did learn from their arrival was that even though they too enjoy staying abroad they now dream of going back to where they were, where I dream of new destinations and continously hope to find the lost paradise.

So now as my second semester ends I will start a new search, a new restless travel and criss-cross the countries around the western-mediterenea for new moments and memories to keep in my little box safe in my heart.

And yet, what I might have always known and often strongly recognize as I am to leave. -There is nothing like home. Nothing as a family dinner with the wonderful cookings of once mother and the cozyness of being with family and friends in places that one knows by heart and sense.
