I have often thought that I would melt like a snowman in the spring if I should ever experience 40 degrees or more. It was my worst case senario as I planned my trip to Spain. But now I am in Sevilla on the third day with 47 degrees and find that even though it is hot and believe me way to hot, it is not impossible for a snowman to survive here. With lots of water and a trip to the overairconditioned El Corte Inglés every half an hour I have been able to make my way and see the beauties of Sevilla.

Unfortunatly I have arrived just as they planned to change the entire infrastructure and all sights and streeets are under construction. But I guess that I then have to return one day and see the finnished job.
I've had a great time in Sevilla, hanging out with an Australian guy I met on the boat from Morocco and I was lucky enough to meet up with one of the guys I met in Granada. There has also been some nice people at the hostal though it itself is nothing to write home about and I had some very good tapas and gazpacho. I even found that I had missed the Spanish kitchen in Morocco and enjoyed it so much more as I returned.
Yesterday I went out shopping and spended enough money to ask my mother not to open the mail from my bank. I bought a camera after my old one went kaput in Morocco and I have had some great times playing with my new toy, which I have named Lotte. So when ever I refer to a travelling partner called Lotte, it's my camera. - ¡Well you only have the fun you make yourself! I also went to HM buying the summercollection and thereby adding a few or more k's to my bagpack. But it was nice to be back in civilisation and of all of Andalucia, Sevilla is known to be the most stylish place, so why not shop when you are here. The town screams for you to do it and the sun is a tuff allie, making sure that you will find the first and best shop with proper aircondition.
Tonight I'll leave for Lisboa and tomorrow I'll be at my friends place and can for the first time inside alcazar in sevillain ages wash my cloth properly and maybe get some pictures on to this travelblog. But I wont leave Sevilla untill tonight so a second visit to HM might not be a bad idea - I mean I could impossibly make the entire way to the hostal without a stop under the aircondition.
A big hug from Anna, Lotte, ZARA, Hennes & Mauritz and offcourse the mid-day sun
