After Bangkok we took the bus down to Krabi and got the boat over to Ko Phi Phi. We left Bangkok about 6pm and arrived in Phi Phi at 4.30pm the next day….sitting on a bus for 22 hours was not much fun and everywhere we stopped seemed to be full of annoying Canadian people(one in particular who had superman tatooed on his crotch, we know this as he was wearing very low slung shorts and for no other reason!!!) or huge dogs that attacked sen and tried to follow me into the toilet!

really strict Swedish guy who basically chucked me into the sea and made me get on with it! Unfortunately it was a really choppy day which made things a bit scarier but after a while I was fine. Thought I had done really well until we got back up and the guy told me the deepest we had gone was eight metres…!
Left Phi Phi to embark on another mammoth bus journey to go and meet Lauren’s Mum and Dad in Hua Hin, which is about three hours outside Bangkok. Lauren and I pitched up at this lovely hotel in the middle of the night, trailing our big dirty backpacks behind us, think the staff were a bit surprised, don’t think we’re exactly the kind of customers they’re used to! We’re having an amazing time here, our villa is gorgeous. We’re getting a bit worried with how we’ll cope staying in hostels again after all this luxury! We even have our own little butler called Kwan who runs around and does everything for us, including running Lauren and I a petal filled bubble bath on Valentines Day!
Having a great time in Hua Hin, has been so nice to see Mum and Dad. Even worth missing out on the full moon party (Note to Gaz, Max said to me the other day, “God
there are loads of these full moon parties aren’t there, how often do they have them?”)!! Will be really sad to leave Eunice and Graeme but we are hopefully going to meet up with them in Bangkok for one more free meal!!!!before they go. We’re thinking of taking them to see the Khao san road but CB the tiger is getting bit nervous about the lady boys!!
Maxers and I are getting the bus to Ko Samuai on Saturday for a few days and then we are heading back to Bangkok before flying to Singapore, then bali and then the mighty reunion in OZ( Max and Rory and me and juls and Jayne!!)
