Mekambo 
Kaśka GlancA small village located abort 400 km from the capital city. It is a part of a very traditional region. Monkey brains and elephant trunks were on the menu in northern Gabon before the outbreak of the Ebola virus. Bush meat - which includes gorillas, crocodiles, lizards, forest antelopes and even tortoises - is valued by inhabitants of the middle African country's fertile rainforests. But in Mekambo bush meat has been banned since 2002. Ebola is be a terrible disease but the villagers are angry with the government.
There is a small airport for internal flights.
