Gode 
Kaśka GlancA small town in the north-western part of the country. It is located about 600 km from Addis Ababa. During the huge famine at the beginning of the 90s, Gode was one of the places that suffered most. Thousands of people died waiting for food. The history repeated itself in the year 2000 due to the drought that struck Somali region of Southeast Ethiopia.
The town is inhabited by pastoralists who keep cattle, goats, sheep and they move around the vast region around the town as the needs dictates. But even in normal times this town is very poor, desolate and decayed.
