El Gouna is perceived as one of the best leisure destinations in Egypt. It is located on many islands connected by beautiful turquoise lagoons. The city offers very different types of accommodation ? from very rich to suitable for students.
It is located only 20 km from Hurghada International Airport and that is why it is easily accessible by air. The city offers hundred of diving and snorkelling opportunities. But windsurfing, kite surfing, waterskiing, parasailing, and many other water sport activities are available.
For those who are not very active El Gouna has fantastic beaches. The downtown of the city is very vibrant. There are bazaars, an art village, cafes, discotheques, a wide selection of restaurant & bars, an internet café, ATMs, public phones, a post office, and an information centre.
