Al Arish

A town located in Sinai. Sinai is rich in scenery. Amazing sandy beaches stretch along the Mediterranean shore. Along the Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez, golden sands encircle bays of blue water. There are tourist villages, fishing and snorkelling centres. The waters are rich with rare marine life and coral reefs. Sweet water springs are located all over Sinai. In the south, the reddish towering mountains are surrounded by vast valleys leading to the Holy Mountain.
Al Arish is the capital of North Sinai. Once a week there is a Bedouin market in the old city and it's not a market for tourists but for Bedouins from all over North Sinai - so it's very recommended to pay a visit in it.

What to see:
Fortress of Al-Arish, which is built on the remnants of an antique Pharaonic fortification and it was rebuilt by the Sultan Al-Qanouni in the 16th century.
