A town in eastern part of the country. The city itself is not interesting, but is located close to the Ruwenzori Mountains.
They are often called the most beautiful, and the most mysterious mountains in Africa. They are situated between two lakes: Edward? and Albert?s. For ages they have been claimed to be the Moon Mountains. There were Greek legends, telling that the Nile River has its spring among them. The highest peak is Margherita -5109 metres above the sea level. There are some rainforests in the lower parts of the range.
