A town in the western part of the country. Man itself is not very attractive. But there are beautiful green hills around, which make the place worth paying a visit.
The most important attractions are outside of town, but in the town there is a nice market. It's multi-coloured and energetic place and everyone can find some goods for themselves, particularly wood-carvings and fabrics.
Near Man the most excellent places to see are: the Cascade, a fantastic waterfall in a bamboo forest, located about 5 km from the town. There is also Mount Tonkoui, which is the second highest mountain. But the most breathtaking mountain is Dentde Man, which is very steep and difficult to climb. It is perfect for hikers. In the villages of Biankouma and Gouessesso you can see the old Africa.
