It is a town in Kirundo province, northern Burundi. The city itself is uninteresting but is located close to the Ruvubu National Park. The Park extends south from the Tanzanian border along a 65 km stretch of the Ruvubu river. More than 200 animal species have been observed here, especially birds. Bird fans and professional ornithologists will certainly find worth visiting.
