The capital city of Burkina Faso Since 1954. It has a population of about 450 000 people. It is connected by rail with Cote dIvore. Since the 15th century the town a centre of Mossi people, so the architecture of the city is a mix of French and African styles. There are not many tourist attraction except Moro Naba palace (he is the king of Burkina Faso), a cathedral and former French governor residence. Ouagadougou has its own forest which is rare in that area. The forest is named Bois de Boulgne (after Bois de Boulogne in Paris).
