Nata is located between Maun and Kasane. It is a rather ugly place but serves as a gateway to Okavango Delta and that is why it is said to be a birdwatchers paradise. The Nata River delta forms the breeding ground for thousands of water birds including pelicans and flamingoes.
What to see and visit
The Nata sanctuary is one of the best tourist attractions in Nata. It a community project which is located in the eastern part of Makgadikgadi Pans. It is aimed at protecting the wildlife on the wetlands. A great place to observing animals, especially birds.
