"Krendel" 
Guest GuestAsk anyone for directions to this bakery on Estaya Street. It's one of the few places where you will wait to be served... and it will be worth the wait. Easily the best bakery in town. One tip, though, don't ask the bakery's employees what tastes good, or for any specific recommendations. Their response will always be to tell you that everything they sell tastes good.
The Urtysh River
Guest GuestLooking for a nice, romantic place to stroll? How about a walk along the Urtysh River. On the section the locals simply call the "embankment," you will find a highly ornate beach and recreation area, complete with a jogging path and playground area for children.
