Bolama 
Kaśka GlancA town in the western part of the country. This is an administrative centre of Bolama Region, which includes also the Bijagos archipelago. Bolama itself is situated on an island, too. It is surrounded by mangrove swamps. Bolama used to be the capital of when Guinea-Bissau was a Portuguese colony. The city has some splendid examples of colonial design and style. But the biggest tourist attraction are the sandy beaches.
