Takoradi

A port town in Ghana, on the Atlantic coast. It is the third biggest city in the country, a learning centre with numerous technical colleges and high schools. This is also the capital of the Western Region. It serves as a trade and business centre of Western Ghana. The most important industries are timber, cigarettes, shipbuilding and railroad fixing.
