Koforidua
Kaśka GlancThe legend says that the town is protected by the overwhelming Obuotabiri mountain. It is the home of the gods of this town. It is also said that a man called Kofi Ofori built this town under a gigantic mahogany tree. Koforidua is exceptional in quite a few ways. It has only one roundabout. It has also one traffic light. There is one library and it is the only capital of the eastern region of Ghana. From every part of the town, the St George's Catholic Church, one of the oldest churches here, can be seen. It is always very white and has two big crucifixes on its front.
The main industry is the production of cocoa, cassava, and corn.
Sometimes it is called New Juaben.
