Sao Vicente Has another big city called Mindelo, which is the main fishing port in Cape Verde. The island itself is a very beautiful ? with mountains and two extinct volcanoes. Monte Verde is the highest mountain here, it is 750 m. It is not impressive but there are some nice routes for hiking. What is interesting, because of strong winds and erosion there are very few trees on the island.
