It is a is the capital-city of the department of Atacora, a region famous for the most excellent tourist attractions.The villages and the holy cave of Taneka tribe offer a picturesque landscape. At the foot of the chain and in the plateau, the guest will be in awe of the Tata-Sombas, strong castles. Not far from Natitingou there is Penjari National Park, which is the most important tourist attraction.
