Nanyuki is a market town in central part of the country. It is located north west of Mount Kenya. Town?s history reaches back to 1907. It was founded by the British. Nowadays it is visited by tourists from all over the world because Mount Kenya is a popular climbing spot.
There is a nice park in the centre, a few schools, an airport and great attractions like Mount Kenya Safari Club and Sweetwaters Game reserve are only a few kilometres away.
Nanyuki is located exactly on the equator.
