Kisumu

This is a port town in the western part of the country. It is the main city of western Kenya and the capital of Nyanza Province. Its historic roots reach back 1901.
Nowadays it is growing fast due to oil exports. It has a railway connection with most of the biggest cities in Kenya. There is an airport.
Attractions in the city comprise things like, Hippo Point, Kibuye Market, an impala sanctuary, a bird sanctuary, the Kisumu Museum and the Kit Mikaye and Ndere Island National Park.
