Kankan 
Kaśka GlancA city and administrative centre for Kankan Region in eastern Guinea on the Milo River. It borders the countries of Mali and Côte d'Ivoire. The city serves as a trade centre for cattle, sheep, corn , potatoes, rubber, rice and yams, also has soap and brick industries. A few colleges (including technical schools) are located here. Kankan was taken by the French in 1891.
Population: ca 300 000.
