Conakry 
Kaśka GlancThe capital city of Guinea. It is also a big port on the Atlantic coast.
At the beginning of the 20th century the city became a capital of the French Guinea.
Nowadays it is a modern city with a lot things worth visiting. You shouldn?t miss: the Guinea National Museum, numerous markets, the Guinea Palais du Peuple, Conakry Grand Mosque, the city's nightlife and the nearby Iles de Los. There is also a stunning botanical garden.
Conakry is the country?s biggest city and its administrative, trade, cultural, educational and economic centre. The city's economy is based on the port, which ships goods like alumina and bananas.
