Tamale
Kaśka GlancThis is the capital of the Northern Region. It is inhabited by the Dagomba people who speak Dagbani and are Muslims. It is situated on a savannah in the northern part of the country.
The city is like a gathering of villages and a lot of folks live in traditional mud brick houses. Some of them are still are roofed with grass, but many of them have TV antennae and electricity wires. The electricity is transported from the Akosombo Dam in mid - Ghana. Blackout are quite common though. Telephone service and Internet are also available. The Internet cafes are connected through Africa Online.
